Disney says you'll be able to use your existing bases on the new platforms, but we've reached out for clarification about just how that will work.Īdditionally, those that purchase the the digital Toy Box will be eligible for the two game discs that come with the retail Toy Box set (Stitch’s Tropical Rescue and Brave Forest Siege). The Toy Box 2.0 download will be available on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and the Nintendo eShop for $29.99, with an introductory price of $19.99 on PSN and the eShop. The standalone digital version will be out on November 4 (by which time all of the 2.0 playsets and Disney Originals characters will be available). This means that should you decide later to add an Avengers, Spider-Man, or Guardians of the Galaxy adventure playset later, you can do that. You’ll also be able to use the new playsets and figures, including the Disney Originals figures, should you choose. This will use your existing figure base and all your original Disney Infinity figures to access the new world-building tools. However, if tights and capes aren’t your thing, there’s another option that will be available later this fall.ĭisney has announced a downloadable version of the Toy Box 2.0 creation mode for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.
